Argyro Karidis, MD
Dr. Argyro Karidis is board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Technion Israel Institute of Technology and performed her pediatric residency at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital where she stayed an additional year as Chief Pediatric Resident.
Dr. Karidis began practicing at North Shore Children’s Health Care in 2009 and has been an involved member of the medical community since then. Dr. Karidis is keen on academia. She is Associate Professor at Hofstra Medical School and teaches the discipline of pediatrics to residents of Cohen’s Hospital. Dr. Karidis is fluent in Greek, Spanish, French and Hebrew.
Dr. Karidis and her husband, Michael Izzo, both grew up in Glen Head and graduated from North Shore High School. They now live in Bavyille with their son Michael. Dr. Karidis enjoys traveling, cooking, hosting dinner parties and spending quality time with family.
